A teacher should be able to help you more than a video. A video can't see you or adjust your alignment. Even in front of a mirror, you can't see your own alignment in all dimensions at once. What you sense as correct alignment can be misleading, because your usual way of balancing feels correct whether or not it is correct. A teacher's guidance as you attempt different poses should provide insight.
A teacher also should be able to explain how to do a pose safely and to give you alternative poses if one is too difficult.
In addition, a video replays
the same poses over and over. At first, they may be what you need. Inevitably,
however, the video will show you the same poses even when you are ready
to grow beyond them.
